Ian, About the trip, let me think ... I really don't have any words to explain, I have to see the dictionary to find a new word for excellent, good, great, ... we really enjoyed the stay in each place. It was a great honeymoon. This was my first experience travelling out of my country, and it could not have been better. I loved the Kairuru Farm Stay. It was like a place that I have experienced only in my dreams. The house was perfect amidst vast expanse of fields along the mountain-side. Krishna and I had a great time. Absolutely no disturbance and some of the best things one could ask for. I honestly saw a million stars! I have never been so lucky. The view of beach nearby (especially when everything was covered by fog) are better left for a poet's imagination (rather than mine). On the whole New Zealand will always remain a place with sweet memories, and I look forward to my next visit. And about the places you suggested for us to stay, YOU ARE SIMPLY GREAT! I have talked to so many people about you (over here in the US, and I am even copying one of my friend who is planning her honeymoon in New Zealand) Everyone was really very good to us. Just wanted to tell you we had an awesome vacation in New Zealand. As I told my kids if I had gone there 40 years ago I would never have gone back to Scotland. The accommodations were just great specially the B&Bs. What was really great was the restaurant recommendations were always right on and the breakfasts were delicious. We enjoyed meeting the local people and it was the little extras, Rex and his taxi service, Gary and Kaye’s wonderful garden, Colleen’s breakfasts, Gina’s local knowledge, the Gray’s house and so on. So will we return to NZ, in a heartbeat. We were both fascinated by the flowers and trees and the scenery is overwhelming. You did a great job for us even arranging an earthquake in windy Wellington. She worked to create a realistic itinerary, booked us places to stay, advised on restaurants and booked activities. We loved working with her and nothing was not "perfect". She also accommodated changes due to weather problems (e.g. glacier flight cancelled) and handled all billings. We loved her and would use her again in a heartbeat.
