The daily hire rate includes the following:
- Unlimited kilometres
- Vehicle insurance (excess applies).
- Extra driver fees
- Kitchen Kit (e.g. plates, bowls, cups, pots etc)
- Personal Kit (e.g. pillows, pillow cases, towels, and bedding)
- 24 hour nationwide roadservice helpline
- Travel wallet including road maps and travel information
- Welcome pack (e.g. Pack including an assortment of things useful for travelling in a Motorhome)
- Complimentary transfers on arrival from Airport or Airport Motels properties to the Pacific Horizon Auckland, Wellington, Picton or Christchurch branches.
- Diesel Tax
- One Way Fees
- Comprehensive road atlas supplied on loan
- LPG
The daily hire rates are:
- Calculated on a per calendar day basis
- Quoted in New Zealand Dollars
- Subject to change without notice
- Subject to a minimum rental period of 7 days (5 - 7 day rentals have seperate conditions, please see the F.A.Q's page for more details.
- Subject to the Pacific Horizon 2009/2010 Terms and Conditions.
You are fully insured in case of accident damage or loss of contents (excluding personal belongings). There is an excess (bond) of NZ$1500 (Bond is $2500 for drivers aged 24 years and under).

It is strongly advised that you pre-book all of the following items for hire. Experience NZ Travel requires that you pay the cost for these items directly to Pacific Horizon on collection of your vehicle.
- Picnic Table - NZ$15.00 per hire
- Picnic Chairs - NZ$5.00 per hire
- Microwave - NZ$35.00 per hire (Eclipse 2 only)
- Child / Booster Seat - NZ$25.00 per seat per hire. In New Zealand all children under the age of 5 years old must travel in a child restraint. The baby seats are mostly universal whereby they are for infants to toddlers depending on their weight and size. The seat is placed on the rear seat facing forward.
- Cot - NZ$55.00 per hire
- Bike rack (holds 2 bikes) - NZ$55.00 per hire
- Mobile Phone - NZ$55.00 per hire (includes a NZ$20.00 phone card)
- Colour TV - NZ$60.00 per hire
- Outdoor Gas BBQ - NZ$45.00 per hire
- Snow Chains - NZ$35 per hire
All motorhomes come ready for hire with a full tank of diesel, and a full tank of LPG. Diesel in New Zealand is priced at approximately NZ$0.75 per litre.
The diesel tax recovery fee is built in to Pacific Horizon's daily hire rates.
