The daily hire rate includes the following:
- Free transfers on vehicle pick up from the airport or city location to our conveniently located depots
- Unlimited kilometers
- Goods & Services Tax (GST)
- one-way rental fee
- Standard United Campervans Vehicle Insurance with a NZ$5,000 Bond/Excess
- Diesel Tax/Road User Charge
- Vehicle living equipment
- One way fees
- Extra driver fees
- Cleaning fees and pre-departure vehicle preparation
- Supermarket Discount Card available at almost 100 supermarkets throughout New Zealand
- Road maps, camping park directories and other tourist information
- 640 page New Zealand Travel Guide, incorporating United Campervans Vehicle Instructions Manual
- A free phone 0800 helpline providing 24 hour roadside assistance throughout New Zealand
The daily hire rates are:
- Calculated on a per calendar day basis
- Quoted in New Zealand Dollars
- Subject to change without notice
- Subject to a minimum rental period 7 days
- Subject to the United Campervans2008/2009 Terms and Conditions.
All United Campervans Standard Rates include Standard United Campervans Vehicle Insurance. This provides cover for:
- Damage to the United Campervans vehicle or third party property
- Public Liability up to NZ$5,000,000
- A Bond/Excess of NZ$5,000 must be paid on collection of the vehicle. The hirer will be responsible for the first NZ$5,000 of any costs incurred due to damage to the hired vehicle or third party property
- The hirer will be fully liable for the repair or replacement of damaged windscreens and tyres
- This Bond/Excess may be paid by cash, travelers cheques or credit card. United accepts Visa and Mastercard. If a credit card is used as the method of payment then NZ$5,000 will immediately be debited from the credit card account. United Campervans will not be responsible for any losses incurred due to interest charges or currency fluctuations.
- The Bond is fully refundable on return of the vehicle to the agreed drop off depot, on the due drop off date, in a clean undamaged condition, with no damage incurred to third party property, and with a full tank of fuel and empty toilet cassette.

| SAVE MONEY WITH THE "ALL INCLUSIVE RATES" |
In addition to the actual hire of the motorhome itself, there are several other important items that you will need to purchase that are not included in the daily hire rates. By purchasing the "Inclusive Package" you will save money on some of these items.
The Inclusive component of NZ$45.00 per day is payable in addition to the daily hire rate. Included in this package is the following:
- All Standard Rate inclusions
- Comprehensive United Campervans Vehicle Insurance (CDW Option 2)
cover with NO Bond/Excess
- Picnic table and chairs (one chair for each person travelling)
- Baby seat and/or child booster seat [if applicable]
- Multiple windscreen replacement
- Free Kiwi Camps V.I.P. Membership Card with a two year
validity providing 10% discount at any Kiwi Camping Park
in New Zealand, or Top Tourist Park in Australia
It is strongly advised that you pre-book all of the following items for hire. Experience NZ Travel requires that you pay the cost for these items directly to Kea Rentals on collection of your vehicle.
- Picnic Table and two chairs - NZ$25.00 per hire
- Additional picnic chair NZ$5 per hire - NZ$5.00 per hire
- Snow Chair - NZ$25.00 per hire
- Bicycle rack - NZ$50.00 per hire
- Bicycles - NZ$6.00 - NZ$125.00 per hire
- Bicycle child seat - NZ$25.00 per hire
- TV/DVD/CD Player (4 Berth only) - NZ$15.00 per day (Maximum NZ$250 per hire)
- Mobile phone - NZ$30.00 (Includes a NZ$20.00 call credit)
- Kruse Commentary System - NZ$8 per day
United Campervans have no one way fees.
United Campervans diesel fuel tax is included already included in the rates.
Diesel in New Zealand is priced at approximately NZ$1.00 per litre.
Pick up and Drop off fees
United Campervans pick up and drop fees are included in the rates.
